I bought this fan renewed and it was in perfect condition. Installed in an hour. The big pain was attaching the blades when it was in the mount. The next one I installed 4 of 5 blades before I put it up in mounting plate. The remote was a little hard to open at first. Build is solid.

The worst item I've ever bought that is a hunter brand. 2 bulbs you can't even find your way out of the room. No lite value at all. Very sad.
