Comfortable vacation sleep is finally mine!
By I review on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2020
I have an adjustable memory foam bed at home that helps with sinus and back issues. I usually have to pile up pillows on vacation to try to get my head high enough so that my sinuses don’t cause pressure and swelling on my face. I had looked at the wedges before but was skeptical and didn’t think they’d be good for travel. I recently decided to have one shipped to my mom’s so it would be there when I arrived. I used it the whole week I was there, and it was great! I wish it were a little wider, but by the third night of adjusting it different ways, I figured out the best setup. The bed is in a corner, and putting the wedge in the corner so it had a wall on two sides allowed me to lean against the wall, so the width didn’t matter as much. (I wouldn’t have needed the corner if the wedge were wider.) I’m seriously considering getting one for other road trips. My vacations would be so much happier with this! If you don’t have an adjustable bed, I would recommend this for home use, too. It would also be really helpful for temporary use for someone who needs to be propped up (would be great for people trying to sleep with congestion causing a bad cough) or needs support under their knees.

As a Side Sleeper I Am a Believer Now
By Augy on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2020
I have used this pillow for more than 2 months now after a sudden flareup of acid reflux caused by a stomach virus and have edited this review a couple of times as I gained more experience with sleeping on a wedge. At first, using this wedge pillow was a necessity but I didn't really like it. However, being a side sleeper, I have always had a problem with laying on my sore shoulders and this wedge has helped to remedy that situation. What I do is stack several regular pillows up against my headboard and then slide the wedge up in front of them, leaving a narrow "trench" to put my arm in. I sleep high up on the wedge, on my side, with my shoulder up over the top corner of the wedge and my arm in the trench between the pillows and wedge---and this gives me the support I need for no more shoulder pain. Sleeping like this took some getting used to but I find it very comfortable now and I will continue using this wedge even though my bout with acid reflux appears to be over. An additional benefit is that I don't wake up in the middle of the night with a stuffed-up nose as lying on the incline prevents that. It is amazing how many problems sleeping on this wedge has remedied for me including acid reflux, sore shoulders, and sinus problems. Honestly, I don't see myself ever going back to sleeping flat on the mattress again as there are too many benefits from sleeping on this wedge.
