Flawed dispenser pump

I've been using this product for many years, and I've been very happy with it. I recently reordered 2. For both, the pumps either didn't work or I couldn't figure out how to get them to work. Luckily, I had a pump from before, so I will be able to use the items I just ordered. But I may never buy again.
