The Shower Cap That Changed My Hair Game

Okay, I never thought I’d be this excited about a shower cap, but the Kitsch Luxury Shower Cap is in a league of its own. This is not your grandma’s plastic cap; it’s stylish, high-quality, and actually works like a dream. First off, the fit is perfection. It’s snug enough to stay secure (even with long, thick hair), but it’s not tight or uncomfortable. The fabric is luxe and feels way more expensive than it is. And the inside? Soft, comfy, and totally waterproof - it keeps my hair bone dry, even during long, steamy showers. Bonus points: it’s cute. Like, actually cute. I don’t feel ridiculous wearing it, which means I actually do wear it. Whether I’ve got a fresh blowout or I’m just trying to stretch one more day between washes, this cap protects my hair and saves my style every time. I’ve tried cheap ones that fall apart or leak, but this one has lasted and still looks brand new. If you’re tired of flimsy, ugly shower caps - upgrade to this. You won’t regret it. Buy It & Replace It

I bought this shower cap in January, 2024, and just repurchased it this November, 2024. The photos are from my original purchase to highlight what you can expect over time with this product. Photo 1 shows some fading from the gold colored spots to a red brick color; I’m completely fine with this because I think it still looks pretty. Photo 2 is the back of the cap, a gummy adhesive has come off which allows the cap to seal and stay in place. Photo 3 shows the gummy adhesive is still in place but it is loose; because of these two issues the cap is in need of replacement because it doesn’t stay in place and slides onto my forehead when in use. With all that being said, this was the 2nd shower cap i’ve ever purchased. I love this one because it doesn’t leave a harsh line across my forehead after use because the design is that it sits and stays high enough on my hairline. It keeps my hair dry while showering, dries completely in between use, is pretty to look at, and easy to use. I love it and that’s why I repurchased it. However, I do not agree with the price since I will have to buy it again in 11 months. I did put it through the washing machine maybe a handful of times and hung it up to dry. Maybe I won’t do that this time and see if the gummy adhesive stays in tack.
