The Lactaid Original Strength and Lactaid Fast Act both contain the same active ingredients in the same quantities per serving. And that is the catch - the Original requires three caplets; the Fast Act only one. From my perspective, both work the same and provide some relief, but not complete relief, for lactose intolerance. So, if you're interested in seeing to what extent this helps you, I suggest considering the price per serving before making a purchase. I failed to do so with my first purchases, and feel I overpaid for the Original as compared to the Fast Act, which was a better deal per serving. Frankly, both seem too expensive for the results I've had.
