DO NOT PURCHASE! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
By Wyland Bontrager on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2021
DO NOT BUY THIS!! My son had this for less than a month and the power button sunk into the control panel and it won’t power on or off. We trying to lift it out of the control panel but the control panel inside has also sunken in. The Hover-1 Aviator was delivered to us on June 28th and it broke on July 16th. I contacted Amazon and they gave me all the info to contact the company and told me it was under warranty since it’s been under a year so we should probably get a replacement. I have called multiple times and no one answers. After waiting for 10 min. on the phone, the recording comes back on and I have to go through the process of listening to the options and waiting, only to do it again at the next 10 min. I also emailed twice with our invoice. NOTHING! No response. What kind of company is this that sells something but has no customer service to help when their product doesn’t hold up. RIDICULOUS! UPDATE: the company has finally responded, only to inform me that the damage is not covered because they consider it accidental physical and cosmetic damage and, according to them, that is not covered under their warranty. I don’t see how it can be considered accidental damage or accidental cosmetic damage when a power button is meant to be pressed. It should not sink into the scooter. I guess you should not use the power button for what it is used for because, if it sinks into the unit due to the control panel inside that sunk into the scooter, it’s considered accidental damage. I need someone to explain that one? Because to me, it sounds like a malfunction of the scooter.
