The Perfect Solution for Dental/Oral Health
By Momma_Jon on Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2025
The Aquasonic Duo PRO is an impressive electric toothbrush set perfect for individuals, couples, or families. With powerful motors, five brushing modes, and smart timers, this device delivers a thorough and customizable cleaning experience. The two travel cases make it ideal for travel, while the wireless charging base and sanitizer add convenience and hygiene. To me, this is really the best part! I’ve never had a toothbrush that sanitizes itself. The fact that it comes with 10 replacement brush heads, makes this a high-value, all-in-one oral care solution. A great selection for those seeking an inclusive answer to dental/oral health.

Decent entry level ultrasonic toothbrush
By Doug B on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2020
I've used Sonicare toothbrushes for about the past 12 years and when my most recent toothbrush wouldn't turn on when the button was pressed, I figured it was time to look for something else. I really liked the Sonicare E series as they were inexpensive, had UV head cleaning stations, and were pretty solid built toothbrushes. But I think things have changed the past few years with them and now the big sets with the UV cleaners and whatnot will run you a minimum of $200 for the set. Way more than I'm willing to spend on toothbrushes. I looked around at other brands and decided on this one based on the fact that there were two toothbrushes (one for me and my wife) and a UV cleaning bay built right in to the charging station. The cleaning bay, oddly enough, will clean 3 brush heads. My son's Sonicare toothbrush head for kids actually fits perfectly in there as well, so logistically, it works perfect for us. The travel cases it comes with seem rugged and much better than what I remember Sonicare including. The toothbrush unit itself definitely feels cheaper than the Sonicare unit. I dropped my Sonicare so many times throughout the years, but it held up very well. I'm a little more afraid to drop this. Not because I think it will just split open, but it just feels slightly more fragile than the Sonicare. It would be really helpful if there were flat spots on the bottom of the unit, so when you put your toothbrush down on the counter to load it with toothpaste, it doesn't roll around on you, but they made it perfectly round, so may have to change your technique there. The cleaning itself does a decent job. My teeth feel just about as clean as when I used the Sonicare, but the feeling during brushing is different. I'd say it's more gentle feeling. Some people may like that. I liked the intensity of the Sonicare a little better. This is almost too gentle for me, but like I said, it gets my teeth clean, so that may be just a personal preference with no real benefit. The cleaning UV light is activated simply by closing the door to the cleaning bay. Would be nice if there was a separate button on a timer to activate the light. When you have 3 different heads in there being used at different times, the cleaning cycles get over redundant, and the bulb would probably last quite a bit longer with more control over the cleaning cycle start. Otherwise, this is a really good set to get, and you won't be spending a fortune for it either. I think there could be some small improvements made, but for the money, it's a good one, and I don't regret the purchase. UPDATE: I've had this set for 2 years. Since getting this, I've gotten my son a kids Sonicare toothbrush, and just to see, one time I put one of my toothbrush heads on his Sonicare toothbrush handle, and the cleaning power was amazing compared to the Aquasonic. I knew at this point it was not a good long term investment to be cleaning my teeth with the Aquasonic since they are way underpowered. These are probably a good entry level sonic toothbrush, but even the cheaper Sonicare brushes way outperform these. Decided to get ride of the Aquasonics after 2 years and go back to Sonicare.
