Not fresh or consistent. Probably factory rejects.

My mom is obsessed with these so I bought them for her. They were not very good. There was also no expiration date anywhere on the package, but I am very sure that these are old. The packaging is Christmasy so I have a feeling these were produced in October or November. There is a batch code on the box but I could not find anywhere online to get info. Flavor: They were ALL different levels of minty-ness. Some of the ones I tried just tasted like plain chocolate with the slightest hint of mint. Just barely. Some of them were slightly less than perfectly minty. None of them tasted outstandingly fresh. Texture: They were all varying levels of creaminess vs hardness. No consistency at all in that aspect. Some were so hard it hurt my teeth, others were a little less soft than a fresh box. I strongly believe these are factory rejects. Appearance: Many were a little cracked. Be careful if buying as a gift. The box is adorable though. Freshness: All of the candies had that white stuff on the outside. I know it’s harmless but it’s a sign that chocolate is out of date. I would not buy these again. Buy straight from the source or don’t bother :/
