Hearts of Palm was recommended to me by my doctor to help lower carb intake - I'm hooked! My favorites are the rice and the lasagna noodles. The spaghetti and linguine are a little chewy if not cooked well but we still really like them all.

Good alternative for vegans, not for pasta lovers

I understand it is an "alternative" to pasta but in my opinion this is not that. An alternatives would be another type of pasta or noodle, like rice noodle or similar; gluten free definitely as this is literally just slices of a vegetable. It is somewhat taste good and it is definitely healthy, but for those that would like the feeling of a pasta noodle might not feel the same satisfaction . Hence it is a great option for vegetarians and vegans!
