Over the last 2+ decades I've used both a 0-guard electric razor and a straight blade to shave my head. Most recently it's been the razor, which I've been using for 8 or 9 years. Earlier this year I was injured and was unable to shave my head, so I picked up one of these things to keep my head tidy. I'm glad i did! Using this thing to shave is so much more convenient than the razor blade - I can shave on demand, with no need to shower and heat up my skin first. There's no mess from shaving cream and nothing to clean up after-the-fact... the hairs get caught into the shaving assembly (unlike using a zero guard electric). You can literally shave, fully dressed, and not worry about hair getting all over your clothes. The shave isn't quite smooth as shaving with a razor blade, but it's very close (way closer than using a 0 guard)... your head LOOKS clean shaved but if you touch it, it's like a 6 hour post shave roughness. I usually shave dry, but I think a wet shave might get closer. The convenience factor more than makes up for the slightly less smooth shave. One thing to note, if you're new to these kinds of devices - Clean out the blade assembly every few shaves, especially if you let your hair get a little longer between shaves. I tend to shave every-other-day and take mine completely apart and clean out the blades with a toothbrush (the cleaning brush that comes with the kit isn't great) every couple weeks, sometimes sooner, if I feel like the cut isn't great. On a support aspect - I had a problem with my device a few months after purchasing it - Freebird made it right, with very little hassle.

Does Not Get Rid Of The Stubble As Promised.

I have recently bought the Freebird Flex Series Pro Head Shaver Kit. I had previously bought the Freebird Flex Series Head Shver Regular Kit. I am not very pleased with the shaving blade results from both the Pro or the Regular. I have followed the instructions how to use religiously. I have gone over areas on my head, the sides of my head, and the back of my head several times with and without shaving cream/gel. I still am left with stubbles in all these areas. The clean look only lasts for about 3 days then I have to shave again. I do not feel the Freebird does the job it claims to do. All of this being said I plan on keeping both Freebirds and not returning them. I will continue to use the Pro as often as I have to. Best Regards, Steve Lininger P.S. Please only contact me by email or by texting me not by phone. Show quoted text Show quoted text Sorry about the double message it was sent by accident. Another problem with the Freebird Flex Series Pro head shaver is attaching the blades to the shaver. It is harder to snap into the shaver than it should be. Cleaning the blades becomes difficult because the sides for opening the blades need to be pressed down hard to open the blades. Once again I WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE SHAVER AND IT'S BLADES!!!! I will use the shaver more often and attempt different methods to get rid of stubbles. Best Regards, Steve Lininger Steve Show quoted text
