Quality made product. Very well built and sturdy. Easy to put together. Good instruction manual. Cuts the grass terrifically! Easy to maneuver. Adjustable walking speed is a great feature. Reasonable price. Battery life is good. Best cutting mower we have ever had. Charges pretty fast. I am very pleased with the mower.

Has much PROs and much CONS and is now broken (1 year later)
By Cousin Eddie on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2019
Update: Didn’t even last one year. Plastic too completely broke off on its own. Cheaply made plastic and could not fix. What a joke. Never again Greenworks. I was really excited to get this lawnmower because it was going to replace an 8 year old Black and Decker electric mower that I had neglected over the years. I never took care of it, never sharpened the blade, never cleaned it . When I initially purchased it, I thought "if it gave me a of couple years, it would still save me money" . (Gardeners are really expensive where I live.) Anyways, that Black and Decker never let me down but I've noticed the blade hasn't been spinning as fast so I thought it was time to upgrade. Now to this Greenworks. First of all, it definitely has power. A LOT of power. I did go all out and buy a 12 gauge electric cord as required and man does this thing cut. Between the amount of power and the width of the blade, my mowing time was cut in half! Assembly was very easy and I didn't really have to read the manual to figure out how to get this operational in a few minutes. And here is where the CONs come in... I feel that parts of this unit is cheaply made. To be honest, I'm not sure I'll be getting 8 years out of this Greenworks mower. The reason I say this is because some of the plastics used appear to be very cheap. The starter button assembly and the metal line that runs to the hand gripe just looks cheap. Additionally, after I had this thing assembled, I noticed the entire handle bar assembly was very weak and wobbly. To be specific, the adjustable latch (see picture) is supposed to hold the top handle bar tight to the lower bar assembly, yet allows you to fold the top bar down for storage. It was so flimsy that pushing it only a few feet fell like it was going to fall apart. I ended up reversing the nut to get a tighter fit (see second picture) AND I had to use a bunch of zip ties to reinforce the handle bar for stability. This means I won't be able to fold the handle bars going forward. So is the trade off for power worth the rather weak handle assembly? Not sure yet to be honest. I think if you can live without folding the handlebars and strengthening the assembly like I did, it would be. But if you need to fold and store this unit, I can see it breaking in time.
