Love Wellness Boric Acid Suppositories for Women

My doctor gave me antibiotics for a respiratory infection. To prevent any issues from taking a strong antibiotic, I decided to take an oral probiotic and use these suppositories. The smell of the capsules is terrible. They smell burnt. I thought it was the ingredients used inside the capsules, but it’s the capsule itself. I wet my hand, touched the capsule, and then I couldn’t get the burnt smell off of my fingers after washing my hands 3 times. I bought 3 boxes to take advantage of a promo code. I had purchased them before, a little over a year ago, also from Amazon, and they were fine back then. I had no reason to think that I would have any issue with these, but all 3 boxes are the same. What a waste of $50. I will contact the manufacturer to see if this is normal. I don't know if it was a change in the formula for the capsules, or if this is a bad batch. I checked other reviews to see if others had the problem and if you look at the one star reviews, several talk about a burnt smell. Hopefully I'll be able to get some information from the manufacturer to share. Update: although all three of my boxes were affected by the horrible burnt smell, and despite other reviewers having the same experience that I had, the manufacturer replied that my experience was, "highly unusual," and told me to contact Amazon to ask for a refund. I'm guessing that this in a non-refundable type of item, I didn't try to contact Amazon. I have recommended these products to people for a couple of years, but being as how they don't seem to acknowledge issues with a product that you put into your body, I'm very hesitant to buy it again or recommend to others.
