Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked this kettle due to the all metal interior. Many other kettles are plastic, and heating water to boiling seems like a sure way to cause leeching from the material. Ease of use: This kettle is very quick to heat up, even when full. I use it daily, often multiple times, and will even use it to boil water to cook with instead of waiting for a pot to boil. Although I've got mortal minerals on my water that cause scale a mix of vinegar and water easily removes any buildup.

Works, but metal separates from plastic top

It works well, had it for almost 2 years. That is to say it efficiently heats water, However, when it was just overt a year old the metal in the cover separated from the plastic top. It falls off. I have tried multiple adhesives and cannot get the metal to reattach. It is extremely annoying.
