K18 Leave-In Molecular Hair Mask, 1.7 oz

When this says it repairs your hair, adds bounce and softness, they are not kidding! NEVER, ever, in my entire 55+ years has my hair ever looked or felt like this. I have counted over 50 products in my two bathrooms, and each time I hope that new product will be the one. They give varying levels of help, but without exception have not lived up to their claims. Until K18, they have always let me down. (Don't worry about waste- I give everything I abandon to the women's shelter.) I have products at the moment that run from $9-$144. Single products, systems, guarantees, all ineffective until K18. I have 3a hair, except you have to hunt for the curls through the dry, colored, heat frizz to find one. My hair is so damaged that it breaks and looks like I have layers cut- I do not! I was going to send this back if it didn't work because of the price. Except a ridiculous price that is actually justifiable because of what it does. I shampooed with clarifying shampoo, put 6 pumps (SMALL container pumps, which equals 2 regular pumps, the recommended amount) of the K18 product on and kind of finger-raked it through my wet hair, waited the 4 minutes, and then combed it through again. I let my hair dry naturally because I didn't have time to dry it. Already my hair was so much softer and had half the normal frizz volume. OMG, this is a miracle! And it is light- like nothing is on your hair! The next morning, I used my Dyson Corrale Straightener to iron my hair at mid-temperature (deemed safe by Dyson) I could not believe my eyes. Instead of my normal blonde straw, my hair ironed silky, shiny, and bouncy at the ends. (You can turn the iron and get curls at the end, but mine have never looked like this!) If you think I am exaggerating, I understand. I have read reviews, product descriptions, etc, and I never got the results I was looking for and the product claimed. Today I did the second treatment. I used 8 pumps, because my lifetime habits are hard to break. I'll go back to 5-6 because the product is so pricey, but I wanted to see if a little more did anything. My hair is somewhat nicer, but I am going to chalk that up to the repeat use, as described on the product page. I am so, so, so happy with this product. I want to be the free spokesperson for this product. I will get someone to take a photo of my hair now that it looks good after the third use, but I am telling you, this is life changing. I am in 90+ heat with 90+ humidity in Florida and my hair is maintaining this sleekness, with no product other than K18. I can't wait to see if adding a conditioner does anything more. Thank goodness, there is no scent. If you are hesitating, I can't say this enough- this is a total game changer. Think of all the boyfriends I could have had if my hair had been Bouncing and Behaving like this when I was 22! Update 7/5/25 I finished the first four treatments and am now cutting back to 1 every three shampoos to maintain. The first treatment for me made the biggest difference, but even the fourth treatment continued to boost my hair. The way it feels is incredible- it no longer has that porous, frizzy feel (although there is still frizz, just nothing like before). It now feels silky- not as silky as Asian hair, but much better. My hair dries with less frizz and styles much nicer. There is more bounce, better texture, and shine. A friend commented on my hair and asked to try a sample of my K18. I got enough out of the original (smaller) bottle for 3 treatments and to give my friend a bit. I have now bought the bigger bottle. I'm hooked.
