Lattafa Yara for Women Arabic Perfume, 100-mL

I finally ordered this to see what the hype is about, and I understood it at first spray. This is a crowd-pleaser. It’s perfectly lovely and balanced. It does smell very nice. It reminds me of something from the past that I just can’t quite place…. Yet. I tend toward heavy full bodied fragrance and some of my favorites are incense or violet themed power houses by guerlain (also chyrpes and aldehydes like mistouko and lhuere blue, Thierry mugler’s Angel, and for softer fragrance I typically do Lolita Lempecka le parfum. My favorite is Roja Dove’s Diaghalev. But I’m a collector and what I like changes often but not a lot of what I enjoy could (or should)be worn to the office or out shopping during the day (well, I have been known to break these rules)but this could. This is THE scent you wear when you need to be around people, perhaps people you don’t know well but you still like a statement fragrance that’s not offensive. I’m in real vanilla phase lately and this is perfect for summer, appointments and from what I read , it gets better as you wear it. I love a nice layering with a vanilla or amber-based lotion. Solid thumbs up. I almost gave it 4 stars but it didn’t last that long on me. I might be back to change the rating if after time it improves.
