Warning: if you have dogs you may not get to use this much. I bought this for my sister because her apartment is on the ground floor with cement and very little padding under the carpet. She loves it as do her two little dogs, she has to fight them for space as they tend to curl up in between the layers. Her only complaint is that the top isn't heated, just the bottom but she says it works sufficiently. I couldn't find anything that wasn't rediculously expensive that heated on both sides. She also likes that it's big enough to use as a traditional heating pad.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great when you remove it for the first time. It even feels great the first time you use it. Cons. The controls are nearly impossible to understand. There are weirdly place buttons built into the cheap control shell that are hard to figure out which function is which. one is the power, another is level and another is timer? it's terrible design that in the dark is ridiculous to use. The heating coils are movable and end up bunged up easily. Which makes a hot mess (literally) I often woke up with all of the heat on one side of one foot. It doesn't stay put in the bed, laughably bad on the floor the timer is terrible and does not work in any logical sense of a countdown I would not recommend this item to anyone
