Supergoop! (Re)setting Refreshing Mist - SPF 40 PA 1oz

UV protection is a critical piece of anyone's skincare, but I especially try to be diligent since I use benzoyl products on my face and so have high sensitivity to sun exposure, any way. I purchased this item on recommendation from a dermatologist, but there are so many better options out there, especially for the price!! While the product absorbs rather well without leaving too much of a sheen, each time i use the product it irritates my skin and eyes. I have to stand there fanning until the "stinging" sensation stops, which I have never had with other products. On top of that, the spray nozzle broke little less than a week into use. I had to transfer the liquid to a bottle I had at home. I stopped using this product completely after out of frustration, I began just putting the Rio de Janero sunscreen body spray on my face instead. It doesn't sting and doesn't turn my face red in the summer heat, which are all things I would expect from UV protection. I didn't have the results I wanted with this product. I tried reaching out to customer service, but each call went straight to voicemail, with a recording that asked customers to call during business hours, Mon-Friday 10am-6pm. I called noon on a Monday, yet there was still no one available. Not even a way to leave a message. So I am out the money for this broken irritant. For those of you who may be between products/or are looking for a change, I really wouldn't recommend taking a chance on this :(
