Our hens have vent gleet and a few chicken forums suggested manuka honey may work better than an anti fungal cream to treat vent gleet. It does seem to work on our hens just as well as anti fungal cream and it's natural. Before using it on our hens, I tasted it and the flavor is not bitter, the consistency is perfect as a honey, and the bottle design makes it really easy to squeeze into a teaspoon - or in the case of the hens.... onto a gloved finger. With so many manuka honey products to choose from, we chose this one for its value and quality. We're pretty happy with it. Here's to your (and your hens') health!

Not real sweet-taste ok

Sooo, my one and only use of this product, so far, was disappointing because it was not as sweet as I know USA honey to be which is a good thing because we all need less sugar in our diet. The taste is ok, it is very thick too so another first impression was this is not gonna go far as I like lots of SWEETNESS, so my review is not fair to the product, and its claims of being healthy for you. I will be trying it again when I take time to sit down and enjoy my tea, I use honey to sweeten my tea.
