A very simple and basic hair straightener wand, that simply works. Nothing elaborate or special, but it has one job to to, so it does that one job incredibly well. There are temperature ranges for you to select, based on hair type and styling decision. It is easy to increase of decrease the temperature as needed. I did notice that after being on a bit, you might want to lower the temperature to perform the same function. The shape of the wand and the way the comb is designed will definitely help prevent those forehead burns that are the bane of curling irons and straightening wands. It works smoothly and easily - your hair is finished before you know it. If you are looking for something that has all the latest bells and whistle, that will make you a cup of ethically-sourced, certified-organic, single-farm double-espresso, than this is not for you. If you want a decent priced hair straightening wand that is quality-constructed and human-designed, then this is what you want to get.

Hard to use myself

I thought I could use this by running it through my hair like a combination, but it doesn't quite work like that. I could only run it through one small section of my hair at a time. I had to pull out a small section to fit in the device. A friend came over and did better with it on my hair herself. She had to do small sections too, but it worked better for her. It doesn't work like I was hoping, but it does work, and it heats up fast. I think the comb is too narrow and shallow to just pull through your hair.
