Color Control Shampoo 33.8 oz

Shampoo came wrapped in some kindu of plastic seal, which is fine, except half of it had a tape like consistency so when the plastic seal came off, it left behind a sticky residue, wasn’t expecting to have to use, use rubbing alcohol or goo to take the stickiness shampoo bottle so that’s really annoying. Also, in comparing the my salon version with the one I purchased from Amazon, there are several noticeable differences. My salon version has a thicker consistency and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. The one that I purchased from Amazon is not as thick and it feels like there’s an additive almost like I used an oil treatment or used too much conditioner. It was hard to rinse out and left my hair, feeling slick/greasy when I ran my fingers through it. The Amazon bottle itself is slightly brighter in color and shine the text on the bottle is a little blurry. My salon version has less of a shine to the bottle and the wording is crisp and clear to read. Additionally, on the front of the bottle of my salon version it says “light/leger” that’s missing from the bottle I purchased from Amazon. I do not know enough of this Shampoo to confirm Aveda has two variants. But I intend to never purchase this from Amazon again. If you want salon quality - go to a salon. The cost was exactly the same, I just saved myself a 3 minute car ride.
