Best electric shaver I have ever owned

Ok, so let me start by stating the obvious. Blading shaving is the best shave possible. That said, I have owned a multitude of electric shavers over the years and this one is the noticeably the best I have ever owned. I took it out of the box and immediately started using it on the partial charge and was amazed at how comfortable and close my face felt. It evens gets the stubborn hair on my neck with ease. I had previous felt that Braun was the best until now. I would strongly recommend this shaver.

Good Shaver; Lousy IT feature

I purchased this product as an upgrade from my Philips 5000. It is functionally very good, giving a decent, close shave in less time than the 5000. The trimmer works well and the product washes up nicely after each shave. However the SenseIQ technology – a Bluetooth link to a mobile phone app – is worse than useless. I have been shaving this face for more decades than I care to remember and I think I know its peculiarities better than an app that was probably written in the last couple of years. And when I noticed that the app caused my iPhone to heat up, that was the last straw and I deleted it. So if I ignore the complaining LEDs that keep showing up on the device each time I shave, It is actually a pretty good shaver.
