Combats frizz but leaves hair limp

I have fine, curly hair that tends to frizz in the summer, since I live in a hot and humid climate (and with climate change, that is increasingly common)! I have used Living Proof Full products and hoped this serum would help tame the frizz and prevent bad hair days. For me, at least, the decreased frizz comes at the cost of limp, heavy hair. It might work better for someone who has coarser curls or more natural volume.
