This product provides almost zero moisture lock-in. If you want to maintain the level of moisture present after towel-drying your hair for a slightly damp look that maintains some volume, you'll want to pair this with hairspray to lock in that moisture and maintain the style. One unexpected benefit was that at the time of this particular order, this product came with an array of miniature samplers of 4 other hair products as well: Pomade, Pomade Plus, Forming Paste, and Thickening Fiber. Those samples were branded as "Trendstarter," not American Crew. Perhaps that was just a temporary promotion and not always included with this product. Each miniature sampler contained enough product for about 6-8 uses each.
