MYCHELLE Instantly Illuminating Peptide

This product has a bit of an odd texture and I found it not the easiest to smooth into my skin; even after shaking it very well to make sure it was fully dispersed and homogenous in the bottle (and emptying the dropper before shaking the bottle, of course), it still seemed kind of thick and not entirely smooth/uniform in texture. I was also not expecting it to be kind of... glittery? It definitely has a bit of a sparkle to it when you apply it, as well as a slight tint. It wanted to dry pretty much as soon as I started smoothing it on my skin, so wasn't that easy to get what I felt like was even coverage without applying maybe more than I would otherwise have done, and thus ending up with even more glittery skin as a result. It has a mattifying feel to it, which makes it good as a primer/base. The ingredients are great and have all kinds of benefits for the skin, but the serum itself is not my favorite, I have to say. It's probably doing lots of good things to my skin when I use it, but I'm not sure how you can call a glittery face a "natural glow".
