Surprisingly tasty

I needed a quick high protein bar that I hoped didn't taste like wet bark after my workout on my way to work It's pretty tasty, and while I am positive it crumbles at the same rate a poptart does, this lasts much longer and more satisfying to eat.

These have a very odd flavor. I think the problem was I smelled them first and there’s almost a petroleum smell to them. The taste is fine. The texture is fine. The smell is definitely offputting. Probably won’t buy this again. Very expensive for what you get. Calorie count is rather high, but being a diabetic the lower carbs was the draw for this product. Update: I was contacted by the company and I was pleasantly surprised to find they are completely standing behind their product. I’m going to give them another try and try a different flavor this time.
