I picked up the Alani Nu Cherry Slush energy drink kind of on a whim because I usually like cherry flavored stuff, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is bold but not too sweet it really does remind me of a cherry slush from a gas station or movie theater, just without that heavy syrupy aftertaste. It’s refreshing and easy to drink, which isn’t always the case with energy drinks. Caffeine wise, it definitely gives me a nice boost without making me jittery or crashing later in the day. I usually have it mid-morning, and it gets me through the afternoon pretty smoothly. The carbonation is light, not overly fizzy, which I appreciate. If I had to nitpick, it’s a little on the sweet side, so if you’re not into candy like flavors, it might not be your favorite. But for me, it hits the spot when I want something fun and energizing. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the better Alani Nu flavors I’ve tried, and it’s quickly become a go-to when I want an energy drink that tastes more like a treat than just a pick me up.
