16 Hours of Proof!
By LattyLew on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2025
L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray – 16 Hours of Proof! I had this on for about 16 hours, and let me just say—it performed! During that time, I was out in 86-degree sun, walking and definitely sweating. Yes, there was visible sweat (we're human, right?), but once I gave my face a little pat dry and let everything settle, my makeup still looked flawless. This ended up being one of my best makeup days, and I’m not even someone who wears high-end or super expensive products. I love how this held up through my entire shift, and let me add—I had my hands on my face constantly, yet my makeup stayed intact. No melting, no slipping—just that soft matte look all day long. For the price? Absolutely worth it. Drugstore products came through again because let’s be real—drugstores got us bussing with these gems! L’Oreal did their thing with this one. Definitely a win in my book.

Terrible Smell!
By L. Grasl on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2025
I decided to try this because a couple other reviews said that it really works. I have been using the One Size Patric Starrr On Til Dawn Mattifying Spray to finish my makeup off with a good seal, but the one size product is so expensive and I go through a can of it pretty quickly. This is much cheaper, although there is less volume in the can. Anyway, I just can’t continue with this product. It has a horrible smell to it, like a cheap aqua net hairspray, sort of smell that sticks to my face and I end up smelling it for hours, and it’s so annoying. The finishing spray results itself works OK, which is why I’m giving this 3 stars instead of 1. Not absolutely fantastic finishing result, but adequate. Certainly not as good as the Patrick Starrr product. One person mentioned that this L’Oreal product is super sticky and left residue in their hairline. I did not find that to be the case. It wasn’t overly sticky and certainly didn’t leave and overspray unless maybe you overspray it into your hair. Regardless, I am not going to order this again because of the smell. I’ll stick with the Patrick Starr, even at the higher price as it’s far superior. And I am actually someone who loves scents, and I am a big perfume fan. But this is literally smelling like spraying Aqua Net on your face and then I end up having to sniff it all day. That’s just not going to work for me. Very offputting. Be warned!
