No App Needed Hearing Aids for Seniors

I received these VODESON Hearing Aids for Seniors in January 2025. The hearing aids I received matched the Amazon product page description and pictures. I didn't notice any manufacturing defects or any other problems with the hearing aids I received. These are not equivalent to the much more expensive traditional hearing aids that allow for calibrating to specific frequencies you are needing hearing assistance with. These VODESON Hearing Aids are amplifiers and that is what the description on the Amazon product page states. I think one way to determine if an amplifier type hearing aid is all you need is that if turning up the volume on your TV allows you to hear everything clearly then you probably don't need to buy the much more expensive hearing aids. If even after turning up the TV volume you are still having difficulties hearing certain sounds or speaking then you probably need the more expensive hearing aids that allow for calibration of the specific frequencies you are needing. I like that these VODESON Hearing Aids don't require an app since that can be confusing to use for some seniors. The controls are all on the hearing aids themselves which help to keep operation of them more simplified. The amplification these hearing aids provided for me was sufficient to allow me to hear my TV without needing to turn up the volume super loud. I was able to keep my TV volume at a normal level. Overall I think these hearing aids are worth considering if you are looking for hearing aids that only provide amplification.
