I got this for arthritis therapy for my hand but I like it for my fingernails and toenails. I love the enclosed gloves and "socks" which keep the wax from chipping off everywhere when the wax hardens. fyi, if you want to dunk your whole hand to get your thumb for arthritis, you need more wax than is included. I like the little brush for nails.

Can not set temperature to a Specific setting and hold it

Can not set temperature! On low reading stays at 149 and on high stays at 168 ? We have to start it at high than turn off after wax is melted and us a thermometer to read temperature and than once it cools to 120-126 my husband can us it for his therapy treatment. Machine is nice and wax melts nicely but just can’t set temperature to a setting and hold it there . Would recommend spending a little more and get something that you can set temperature and hold it there .
