In a town overtaken by hostile circles, a prophet had a vision of a rectangle that could save them all.

“Tell us more,” said the townspeople. All of them were packed tightly into schoolhouse. The prophet stood at the front of the room.

“Unlike the evil circles who stand so tall that they cast shadows over our meager huts, the rectangle from my vision was small,” he said. “It could fit in the palm of my hand.”

“How could something like that possibly save us?” asked the townspeople.

“With magic and speed,” said the prophet. “You see, the rectangle could connect without tethers, it could grab hold of the very air and work its way along a network of interconnected, invisible lines with unparralleled haste. Imagine how fast and how far you think it could go, and then multiply those speeds and distances by 14 and 6 respectively.”

“What do you call this thing?” The townspeople asked, their voices loud with excitement.

“The name tattooed on it's surface, if I can remember correctly, was ‘D-Link Xtreme N Notebook Adapter.’”

“D-Link Xtreme N Notebook Adapter,” the townspeople repeated, as if in a trance.
