Will “The Phenom” return to his hometown desk?

After a tumultuous season that saw yet another unsatisfying early exit from the playoffs, Kevin’s Desk fans everywhere are at the edges of their seats waiting to find out of superstar team MVP HP Pavilion Phenom Quad Core Desktop will return. “The Phenom,” as the machine is known to its fans, is said to be leaning towards testing free agency and the possibility of working alongside his longtime friends, 27” Monitor and USB Keyboard, in Miami.

Instead of quietly announcing his intentions with the team and allowing them to move forward, “The Phenom” has spent the offseason hyping his “Will I or Won’t I?” television special, in which he plans to announce his plans. Some fans point to the timing of the event as an indication of the computer’s intentions.

“He wouldn’t screw us this hard, waiting until there are no good free agents available to try and replace him. He’ll have to stay.”

“He promised to win a championship at this desk. He adopted this desk as his hometown shortly after arriving here. Sure he’s frustrated, you could tell by the way he completely gave up in the playoffs last year. But he’s got unfinished business.”

Regardless of the outcome, millions of eyes will be tuning into the spectacle, though not all of them will be hoping for “The Phenom’s” return.

“I hope he goes down there to Miami and in the first game he breaks his 1TB Hard Drive clean off. I’m talking CAREER ENDER. The crybaby jerk.”
