That’s right, I knew all along it was just a publicity stunt. But let’s face it, it sure was a great one. Kinda like when James Brown would fall over and then throw off his cape and come back for more? Oh, I LOVE that bit, so I’m really glad that’s what Flip is doing.
Because it’s NOT FAIR that Flip is going away. I was SO USED to recording 720p videos in 16:9/30fps mp4 files. And that omni-directional microphone came in handy. RAAAA! How dare they? How dare those suits ruin thinks for us again? It’s all about stupid profit! I’ll kill them! I’ll kill them and bring back the Flip!
No, no, that’s not fair. It’s not personal with them, right? So let’s talk business. I’ll buy a Pure Digital Flip MinoHD 2-Hour Digital Camcorder right now, and start using it everywhere. It takes up to two hours of video so that’s not hard to do. Then I’ll be a brand ambassador, you know, for free. People will see me and think “Wow, I should buy a Pure Digital Flip MinoHD 2-Hour Digital Camcorder too!” and then you’ll get rich! Of course, you have to start making them again. That’s part of the bargain, you see.
Aw, but I don’t even rate an answer, do I? GOD this is CRUSHING ME. I can’t imagine never again using the built-in USB arm to move my videos onto a PC or Mac. And what about the FlipShare software? Will there never again be an update? I haven’t been this depressed since David Tennant left Doctor Who. Why did this have to happen to me? Why? WHYYYYYYYY?
Okay, well, I guess there’s nothing I can do. The Flip’s dead. I just have to learn to live again, and go on. Maybe one day, something else will replace it. Until that day comes, I’ll have my happy memories. And also, I’ll probably be able to find it cheap on my favorite deal-a-day site. I guess that’s something. I guess that’s something indeed.
