Take a good look, loyal Wooters, because today we're recapping the most memorable products. There's that thing, remember how it made you smile? And that other thing, oh, boy! The forums sure called that a Woot-Off killer last February. Now, of course, we can look back and laugh.
And what about those twins from March? Or that elder statesman from May? Everyone had written THAT product off back in 2008, but it sure came through in the end.
Ultimately, it's your choice to applaud or catcall, but keep in mind: these products gave their very best, and they gave it for you. In these final, quiet days of 2012, let's remember the products that said "The show must go on!" and marched out, one by one, to take their chances before the crowd.
And please, ignore all those savages who say we're just emptying out our warehouse before the new year begins. They don't know a THING about artistic genius.

Fill martini glasses with ice to chill. In a pitcher combine Stocking Stuffer Mix with 2 cups water, 2 cups Vodka, (citrus flavors are delicious) or gin, 1/2 cup Contreau or Triple Sec. Stir to combine. Add ice and stir briskly. Just before serving, remove ice from glasses then pour in the Stocking Stuffer Cosmopolitan. Garnish with curls of tangerine peel. Frozen stocking stuffer Cosmo: In a blender combine Mix with 1 cup of water, 2 cups vodka and 1/2 cup Contreau. Fill blender with ice and whizz until slushy. Non-alcoholic punch for naughty and nice children: In a pitcher combine 4 cups pineapple juice, 2 liters ginger ale with the Mix. Stir to combine then serve over ice and garnish with slices of tangerine and maraschino cherries. |
