The E Stands For Enexpensive
Rejoice! The reward for your diligent penny-pinching is near at hand. All those dinners of Sav-U-Bux generic spaghetti, garnished with Value Kitchen imitation mayonnaise… all those trips to Burger King to fill your pockets with free napkins, ketchup, and salt… all those DVDs checked out of the library instead of rented, and thus so badly scratched that you never even got to the part where Bruce Willis’s character reveals that he, too, is dead… today is the day it’s all worth it. Today is the day you can have the eMachines T3304 Sempron 3300+ Desktop PC for a fair sight less than three hundred bucks.
An AMD Sempron 3300+ 2GHz processor, 256MB of DDR400 memory, a 100GB hard drive spinning at 7200RPM, and the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Video chipset – specs like that sound pretty expensive, huh? Well, not on our watch. The T3304 also boasts a DVD-Rom/CD-RW drive for budget disc-burning, and includes Windows XP Home Edition. (It’s fully legit, but if you want to tell people you pirated your version of XP, we won’t rat you out. Gotta keep up that cheap cred, you know?)
No, it’s not the highest-performing computer out there. For some people, that would be a drawback. For you, it means savings, savings, savings. Keep in mind you’ll also need a monitor – we think we saw one for five bucks at the Value Village out on Watson Road.
