All the world is a well-lit stage!

Really, Tommy? Really? The day before we go live with Garage Theater’s new production, Timber! and you still don’t understand the lighting cues? Fine! We’ll go over it again!

You stand on the ladder with your Energizer Hard Case LED Swivel Flashlight – make sure you’re holding it tight by it’s rubber overmold to avoid any shakiness. When the shark, played by your sister, attacks the Noble Lumberjack of Munich, played by me, turn off the light so that the whole garage goes dark. I mean it would have been great to just leave the light on so the audience could watch the epic battle but someone, your sister, couldn’t learn the fight choreography but… you know what? Never mind! That’s not important.

When you hear me say, “The cursed beast is dead!” turn the light back on. I’ll be on stage with your mother, a mermaid that I saved from the shark’s stomach. With the non-focused LED, you should have no problem lighting the whole stage for our elaborate song and dance, which takes up the final forty-five minutes of the play.
