Day Seventy Five. The island. Still no word from the outside world.

I mean, maybe there is. You know, maybe they’re sending out search parties and asking me to light a signal fire every day. I wouldn’t know, because all I have is a Eton M300-PK Pink Mini AM/FMShortwave Radio, and I’m not gonna touch that. I mean, pink? Really? That’s for girls and babies. I’m a macho dude who can survive on an island, I’m not going to touch anything pink.

I mean, yeah, it would be nice to have some FM radio. And there’s probably some oldies station on AM that I’d like. And the Shortwave, I could hear all kinds of things from news to sports and more! Plus there’s a clock, and an alarm, and a sleep timer and digital display. I bet there’s even a ship out there, sending a signal, telling me to meet them at a specific time on a specific beach so they can rescue me. And you know what? Forget that. Because I ain’t touchin’ a pink radio, no matter how cool it is.

Look at it from my point of view. What if someone walked up right when I was holding it. They’d think it was mine! They’d tease me forever? You ask me, I’d rather be stuck on this island than be teased about owning a pink radio. That’s right. Stuck here forever. Like a man.
