I bought this Hornet 5x42 Digital Night Vision Monocular to fit in at parties and be considered a cutting edge fashion icon. Everyone told me it was ironically fashionable. Everyone said they used to be super cool a long time ago so that means they’re cool again.

But it’s impossible to keep it in my eye without holding it to my head. How did old-timey bankers and aristocrats do it? And why did they need night vision? This whole thing is confusing and I feel foolish for participating. Maybe the monocular phase is beyond me.
