At the Palo Alto announcement, HP Pavilion P6336F also introduced his running mate, the SimpleDrive 2TB Turbo USB 2.0 External Hard Drive. “The added capacity that SimpleDrive 2TB brings will make our independent ticket the right choice for all Californians, from the top of the state government to the top of your desk.”
Observers were divided on how HP Pavilion P6336F’s surprise run would affect the other candidates.
“With its potent processor and multimedia capabilities, it could nullify (Republican) Meg Whitman’s tech-industry base,” said Edward Quivocate of the California Insitutional Policy Institute for Policy of California. “But at this price, it could shave off some of (Democrat) Jerry Brown’s student and working-class support. Who knows with the crazy voters in this state? Seriously, these people are messed up. You never know what these lunatics will vote for next.”
While pledging to “speed up the lagging political process in Sacramento”, HP Pavilion P6336F remained vague on specific policy proposals. “I’ve said all along that what Californians need is cheaper, more effective governance, and that’s the platform I’m running on,” it said. “Also, check out this awesome 15-in-1 card reader.”
When asked if he supported former HP chief Carly Fiorina in her Republican run for the Senate against Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer, HP Pavilion P6336F had little to say. “I worked with Carly for years, I saw what she did at HP, and, well, let’s just say I’ve pledged to run a positive campaign.”
