It’s amazing what mouse can do with the right training. We saw one once that could crawl down a man’s throat after he’d swallowed a raw egg, some cheese, and some beans, and emerge with a perfect little platter of huevos rancheros. Then the darned thing played “Cielito Lindo” on a tiny guitar, to entertain whoever was eating the huevos rancheros. Of course, nobody ate it. But that didn’t diminish the mouse’s accomplishments in our eyes.

While not quite that extravagantly talented, the Microsoft C6W-00001-B Laser Mouse 6000 is chockablock with unexpected little features like Precision Booster, Gaming Toggle, and a one-click Magnifier. It’s probably not as much fun to watch as the A-list performing mice that are all the rage in Hollywood these days. But at least you can handle the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 without fear of rabies or fleas.
