Some people do things the easy way. Others do things the cheap way. Still others do things the high-quality way. Then there are those of us who do things the Zune way.

Maybe it’s not the best media player out there. It doesn’t offer the same community of support that more popular players do. And it’s not exactly inexpensive, either, unless you got ahold of one of those brown refurbs.

That’s why us Zune owners are a hardy breed. We have to be. The mocking glances, the firmware quirks, the heartbreak of searching for our fellows and finding none: no iPod owner could ever deal with all that. Or maybe the best way to put it is “no iPod owner would ever put up with all that.”

So we’re thanking the Zune Car Pack for making it a little easier to travel the lonely Zune road. The charger lets us juice it up while we’re driving on that deserted thoroughfare, and the FM transmitter lets us listen to it on the radio. It even finds the optimal station for broadcasting on, so we don’t have to.

It isn’t always easy being a Zune enthusiast. Or cheap. Or fun. But thanks to the Zune Car Pack, it just got a little less difficult.
