He never had a name. I mean, maybe he did, but I never knew it. To me, he was just that Mini USB Clip-On Webcam that came in every day and did his job as hard and as well as he could. All any of us knew was that he had a 100K Color CMOS Sensor, automatic shutter speed, white balance, and could capture video at 352 x 288. He didn't complain when one day we'd tell him to sit on a desk and the next to hang off a notebook. He even brought his own USB cable just in case we didn't have one. And then one day we came in and he was gone. Never said anything, we didn't even have time to get him a card or a cake. It was all about the job with him, all about making the team a little better. He used to smile when he'd say "there's no I in webcam!". Wish I'd laughed harder. Maybe some of those fancy name-brand executive webcams could learn a thing or two from an attitude like that.

Anyway, here's to ya, Mini USB Clip-On Webcam. I hope you're happy out there, and I mean it. I really hope you found something that makes you happy. You sure deserve to be.
