Family trip? Between the dropping dollar and the rising oil, me and my once-middle class family can’t afford that. So this summer we’re choosing the Nikko Nissan Skyline GTR R34 1/10 Scale 9.6 volt Radio Controlled Car. It’s a replica of the car from “The Fast and the Furious” so we’re pretending to travel in style.

There’s a crash resistant body, working headlights, front and rear suspension, a differential gear for traction, adjustable front wheel alignment, and a set of drifting tires that let you take corners at high speed with real drifting action. My wife always gets mad about those, but my boy loves them. I even let him drive it once when she was taking a nap. Don’t let her find out about that!

The tri-band transmitter uses two different frequencies so you could race up to six cars. Maybe one day we’ll be able to afford six cars. Right now, I’m even starting to worry if my job will be there when we get back. But hey, what can you do? At least we’ll be together as a family, thanks to the Nikko Nissan Skyline GTR R34 1/10 Scale 9.6 volt Radio Controlled Car.
