DVDs? Nope, not me. I’m not about to sink a fortune into a bunch of discs only to have the Powers That Be come along five years later and tell me they’re all obsolete. I’m not going near the damn things – I’ll stick with free TV, thank you very much. In the immortal, unforgettable words of that one band, “You can’t fool me again.” Hey, entertainment industry: find yourself another sucker!

Let all the poor, gullible saps invest in portable DVD players for their cars. (Those folks are today’s equivalent of the geniuses who had 8-track players installed thirty years ago.) I’m sticking with the Optimag Portable 5.5” LCD TV. It has no use for all your fancy DVthis and Blu-that discs – all it does is pull in regular old TV signals and show them on the 5.5” TFT LCD screen. With a remote and a car lighter adapter, the Optimag Portable TV lets me watch my stories while I’m zooming down the highway or ordering a Quarter-Pounder. The A/V input even lets me plug in my game console of choice. When all the landfills are stuffed with obsolete DVDs, and you have to empty your pockets for the next big video thing, don’t come crying to me. I’ll be watching my Optimag Portable 5.5” LCD TV.
