Before you click that “I WANT ONE” button, ask yourself: do I own a 3-Channel Ferrari Weather Station? Because if you don’t, as is very likely, this Oregon Scientific Black Thermosensor is going to be about as useful as a ballet helmet.

We know, we know: the user-selectable temperature display features are pretty alluring. But unless you’ve already got the aforementioned 3-Channel Ferrari Weather Station, they’re not meant for you. You might even be tempted to buy a few just to keep the Woot-Off moving, but consider whether you really want some fine but useless remote temperature sensors clogging up your home and your life.

Then again, what do we care? If people want to give us money, we say, let the people do what they want. It all spends the same, right?
