Sometimes games with a lot of setup can be fun. Everyone enjoys rolling up D&D characters, and placing your armies for Risk is not really “setup;” it’s the first phase of playing. But setting up your gamepad for use with your favorite first-person shooter games is not any phase of playing, It’s a straight-up drag, man. Maybe your game doesn’t even offer gamepad support—or at least not without complicated programming. Well, at last technology’s done something to make your life better, and about time, too! Technology had been cruising on “indooor plumbing” for too long.

No tedious, complex programming necessary here: Just press the FPS button on this gamepad and before you can say “desensitization to acts of horrific violence,” you’ll be happily snuffing your friends and classmates, ha ha!

And the patented Immersion rumble technology means you’ll feel every kill! Not in an emotional sense, of course. You won’t “feel” solemn, or remorseful, or any dumb crap like that. You’ll just physically feel the weapon going off in your hands and whatever. Who’s next in line to meet his fate?

Just so you Vista users know, this product is fully compatible with your OS —but the SST software and drivers on the disc that comes with it will only work on XP. You’ll need to download the Vista driver from Saitek’s site.
