It’s a phrase that sends shivers down the spine of any CEO, and sends consumers into beheaded-chicken mode. Sure, why take chances, right? But when you look a little deeper, you might notice some interesting facts. Like, for instance, maybe the recall was announced based on problems in a single unit – literally one washing machine. Maybe the company recalled most of the products before they were ever sold to consumers. And maybe the defect has been completely fixed on every unit since the recall.
