• You can also connect your HDHomeRun Dual directly to the incoming cable line to receive the unencrypted digital cable ("ClearQAM") channels your cable provider offers
• The HDHomeRun Dual streams the full-quality digital stream from the broadcaster or cable provider, ensuring that you get the highest quality possible, including 720p and 1080i HDTV when available
• You can watch, pause, record, and rewind live TV, depending on the DVR program installed on your computer
• The tuner works in combination with whatever DVR software you install on your computer, so that you can schedule in advance and record all your favorite TV shows
• Multiple HDHomeRun units can be used together to expand the number of tuners on your network. They are automatically allocated between computers as needed. Tuner pooling works with Windows Media Center, BeyondTV, SageTV, GBPVR, MediaPortal, and TotalMedia
• You can stream your HDTV live on your iPad or iPhone throughout your wireless network. You'll need to use EyeTV software as well as an EyeTV App purchased on iTunes, but once you have these, you can watch, pause, and record on these handheld Apple devices
• The HDHomeRun Dual works with a variety of popular DVR applications that are compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux programs, such as Windows 7 & 8 Media Center, Elgato EyeTV, Myth TV, SnapStream Beyond TV, SageTV, and MediaPortal
