Don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll come up with a new idea soon. Maybe your characters could all have cool watches or something. Like these Timex iControl Ironman Watches. They certainly are “shiny”, aren’t they? They’ve got all the tried and true functions we’ve all grown to expect from a Timex watch, but with the added awesome bonus of being able to control an iPod wirelessly. Maybe you could tie the ability into the strong and amazingly attractive female lead’s mysterious past or somewhat randomly insert them into the story only to explain their appearance as being constructed from some ancient key. Or weave them into a musical! I hear those are popular nowadays.
