Meanwhile, down at Mr. McGee’s Five-and-Dime, a part-time worker asks a young lady a very important question.

“Well, see, I was just standing around doing close to nothing and I happened to notice something as you walked in through that out door there. That doesn’t happen to be a Raspberry Zippi you have there, does it?”

“Why, yes, it just so happens to be a Raspberry Zippi from Vornado.”

“The kind you find in a second hand store?”

“Well, actually, I bought this from an online retailer, but you might be able to find them in second hand stores. I’m not really sure.”

“Wow. A Raspberry Zippi. And if it was warm, I bet you’d plug it in, turn it to one of its two speeds, and cool yourself with air propelled from its safe-to-touch soft cloth blades.”

“I would indeed, young man. How very perceptive. You… you don’t mean to do me any harm, do you?”

“Oh, gosh, no. I would, however, love to put you on the back of my motorcycle and go riding out by Old Man Johnson’s Farm. If you were interested, of course. I hope I’m not being too forward.”

“Not at all, young and possibly virginal shop assistant. Why, I simply love a good ride under an overcast sky. Shall we?”
