We'll go ahead and say it: a lot of ear buds aren't very original at ALL.

Grab a handful at random. Throw 'em on the table. What will you see? A big pile of black plastic and white plastic and maybe the occasional pink plastic. But if there's a pair of Wooden In-Ear Headphones mixed in, you'll notice them first.

And isn't that half the fun of earbuds? If you just wanted to be like everyone else, you'd use those generics that came taped to the iPad, or iPhone, or Sansa or whatever it is you bought. The reason you're looking for new earbuds is because you want something MORE, and what's more more than wood?

Face facts: if a million termites fly at your face, you've got a bigger problem than being worried about your earbuds. And in any other case, there's no real difference between wood and metal, is there? Be original, be classy, be natural, and know in your heart that if you run into the original Earth 2 Green Lantern, you'll instantly have the upper hand.
